About Us

Emilie and Sacha met three whole children ago (we already had two between us) whilst studying Fashion Textiles at The University of Brighton. Since then they have been merrily knitting themselves a lasting friendship.

After graduating they both had successful careers as freelance designers where their work was used extensively for both catwalk, and top end high street collections. This all changed when they decided to embark on a crazy quest to pool their skills and knowledge to design their own range of children’s wear. Nine months later Made by Mabel was born.
